Christmas Holiday

We all look forward to the Holiday season not just for the brief respite it gives us from the pressures and demands of work but also it is one of the best times to demonstrate our gratitude to our loved ones and all those who have rendered life more exciting and spectacular.

It is also a wonderful time to take advantage of your creativity to personally craft and design the presents and business Christmas cards you will give to your family, friends, and co-workers.  You also have the tree and the house to spruce up, the menu for the Christmas dinner to prepare, and the parties you will need to be ready for.  It may just be as hectic as your normal office day but as certain as the sky is blue, you will savor the strain of your Christmas calendar a million times more.

Anyways, back to business, pick up your pen and paper quick. What are your Christmas particulars?

1.  Christmas cards and gifts - Who does not want to get gifts, even regular personalized Christmas card?  Not you, I think.  We are touched even by the customary card from associates merely because they remembered you and loved you for being involved in their lives.  So make sure always to individualize your gifts with a sincere note.

2.  Christmas tree - The holiday will not be complete without a fir, a spruce or a pine with lights, angels, Christmas balls, and other decorations hanging from the tree.  To many, it is a noble tradition and a family affair to embellish the tree for the holiday.  A lot of beautiful accounts are remembered when one sees a Christmas tree.

3.  Home decorations for Christmas - If you have a Christmas tree, it is not enough to say that your home is fully adorned for the Christmas season. The wreath on the front door, the stocking by the fireplace, and Christmas embellishments has to be strategically placed over the entire area of the house.  So be sure your supplies are well handled after removing them from the last season.

4.  Menu for the Christmas banquet - If you are one of those families who get together for a peaceful banquet during Christmas, then you are familiar with the desperate last minute drives to the grocery store for a pound more of flour and an additional quart of milk.  After a scrumptious and filling dinner, the family would get together near the fireplace for a little good time together.

5.  Christmas parties - Well, who doesn’t like to party in this Yuletide season?  Company parties, family reunions, and gathering with friends, your schedule is certainly filled up with party events. Then you’ll need to prime yourself with the clothes, the presents for everyone else are there, and other tiny elements you’ll likely overlook until the last minute.

All of us have fond recollections to share but, sure enough, there are as well not-so-happy ones we would somewhat not recall.  To prevent them, you simply have to make a list of your Christmas essentials and prepare ahead.
